Research Services

SEL’s Information Center is a key resource for our scientists and engineers. The Information Center has an extensive library of print and electronic materials in fire science, engineering, and materials science, as well as an experienced research librarian who assists our engineers and fire investigators. Review and analysis of the current and historical scientific literature, standards, and codes is imperative as we develop and test our hypotheses, perform laboratory testing, and assist manufacturers with product safety analyses. The Information Center is also a member of resource sharing organizations that provide access to materials worldwide.
